Technical characteristics of polyester
– All fiberglass reinforced polyester trailers
-Trailer in double insulated sandwich panels (class II)

Thermal conductivity or lambda (λ) is the amount of heat W/(m.K) that can be transferred in a material in a given time. The smaller the value & lambda is, the more insulating the material. Thermal insulators have λ less than 0.060 W/(m.K).
This coefficient of thermal conductivity measures the ability of the insulation to conduct heat. It is represented in watts/meter and in degrees Kelvin: W/m.K.
To evaluate the performance of an insulator, it is always necessary to consider the thickness and the intrinsic thermal conductivity of the insulator.
The lower the coefficient, the more insulating the material.

The advantage of using a cabin with a low thermal insulation coefficient and therefore high thermal resistance is:
-Decreasing the power of the air conditioner (energy saving),
-Obtain a much more constant temperature inside the cabin (very low temperature variation inside),
Advantage of using polyurethane foam with polyester skin:
The density of the sandwich panel is very important: 40kg per m3
Very low deformation: With a load of 2 tons per m² the deformation is 0.1mm
Very low weight compared to sheet metal, stainless steel, or even aluminum: weight for a sandwich of 50mm per m² => 1.7kg
